The first Christmas I spent away from my family was before Dave and I were married. A stocking appeared on my bed during the night. There were presents and a wonderful dinner with my new family and my future mother-in-law made me feel like I had always been part of her family!

Audrey and I went to a Tom Jones concert at Poplar Creek. We left in plenty of time, I'm pretty sure we stopped for dinner, then we started driving. And driving. And driving. And driving and driving and driving. We were just talking and laughing and enjoying the road trip. Eventually we saw a sign and realized we were pretty far into Wisconsin! We turned around and started driving faster and reached Poplar Creek in time to hear the last song!
